Ten Star Music will stage for this year its third and final Irie Acoustics Festival series at Sharper Lane, Old Harbour on December 29.
The event started back in September and is the brainchild of 10 Star Music head, producer Jamaican-born Oska Daley who lives in the United Kingdom.
“Irie Acoustics Festival is an entertainment production that was designed to promote new reggae/dancehall artistes and musicians,” Daley told Old Harbour News.

The event is held on the last Saturday of each month at Sharper Lane Daley said with its inauguration featuring artistes such as Triple A – the 2015 champion of Magnum King and Queen of Dancehall, 10 Star recording artistes Marr and Ras Xtreme, Black Dice, Di Barba among others.
Daley said the response then was great as all the artistes “delivered energetic and outstanding performances to please the patrons, who enjoyed every moment of the show”.
“The aim is to create a place where people who love our music can attend and enjoy live reggae music. People home (in Jamaica) or abroad who aren't able to make it to the venue will still be able to watch the artistes perform from the comfort of their living room through live stream via www.irieacoustics.com,” Daley said.
The final staging of Irie Acoustics Festival for 2016 will be at the same venue, however it will be held on a Thursday this time. The switch to a Thursday Daley was down to availability of the performers.
Nevertheless Daley says patrons can expect a good show.
“Reggae lovers will be treated to performances from some of the artistes who performed on previous shows. The line-up includes: Specialist, Marr, Ras Xtreme, Di Barba, Ari Natural, Taj Johnson, Raymi Rich and others. They will all be backed by the Kancious Vybes band.
“Irie Acoustics Festival fans and persons who will be attending or watching the show for the first time can expect another high energy entertaining show as each performer is ready to give you your desire,” he said.
