Jamaican Dorothy Scott, Old Harbour’s first ever Olympian celebrated her 60th birthday this past weekend in style with family and close friends.

Celebrating yet another milestone (in photo) with Scott at the very beautiful Heron Bay Golf Club, Georgia, USA, are childhood friends Valerie Rochester of Rebecca’s Haven PCH and Joan Lloyd, former teacher at Old Harbour High.

Scott, who grew up on Lafe Street, Old Harbour and attended Vere Technical High School, represented Jamaica in long jump at the 1980 and 1984 Olympic Games along with the likes of Merlene Ottey, Donald Quarrie and Bertland Cameron.
