Biker dies in South Street crash

A motorcyclist is dead following a serious collision at the intersection of South Street and Walker’s Road in Old Harbour yesterday.

Dead is Nicholas Pryce, 27, a resident of Savannah Cross, Palmer’s Cross district, Clarendon.

According to the police, Pryce was heading south along South Street when the driver of a Honda Stepwagon, heading north, made a right turn toward Walker’s Road.

Pryce slammed into the vehicle and was unconscious with a massive wound to his forehead.

He died on the spot.

The incident occurred sometime between 2:45 pm and 3:30 pm Old Harbour News understands.

Firefighters at the Old Harbour Fire Station, located at the crash site, rush to the scene which caused a massive pile up of traffic in the town for several hours.

A police officer informed Old Harbour News that though rider was speeding the driver of the other vehicle has been warned for possible manslaughter pending the outcome of a full investigation.
