Andrea Chang delivers heartfelt gift to Old Harbour basic school
Last Friday, while on a short trip to Jamaica, Chang paid a surprise visit to the Watt's Early Childhood Care Centre, one of the oldest of its kind across the constituency.
During her stop at the 84-year-old institution's base along East Street, the American gifted the kindergarten students with knapsack and other educational items, bringing much joy to their hearts.
Chang, head of the Yvonne Castle Foundation, says there are a lot of planning taking place in preparation for their annual back-to-school treat, to be hosted at the family home on Lafe Avenue, Old Harbour.
Last year, Chang’s foundation, named in honour of her late mother, donated hundreds of school supplies to children from in and around the community.
