The 41-year-old tradesman and native of Spring Village, was shot and killed by three armed men while at a bar on Ascot Drive, Old Harbour.

According to the police, about 6:00 pm last Saturday, Williams was at a bar when the gunmen alighted from grey Toyota Probox vehicle and shot him multiple times.

The usual Saturday evening at upper Ascot Drive, was transformed into chaotic scenes, as persons in the densely populated enclave were sent scurrying for safety.

One eyewitness, who requested anonymity, said the gunmen kept firing widely after killing Williams before escaping in the vehicle.

Thankfully no-one else was injured during the horrifying ordeal that last under five minutes.

For the next hour at least the area, a regular alternate route of choice for motorists to get into the town centre, was cordon off by the police for scene of crime detectives to process the scene for any data that may assist them with their investigation.

Williams has been plying his trade as a duco specialist for some 20 years, operating from a garage  located in his yard in Spring Village, a community of some 5,000 residents situated four miles northeast of Old Harbour town.

Only a few months ago Williams had his first child, Old Harbour News understands.

Investigators are appealing to the public to come forward with any information that may lead to finding the men who killed Williams.

Investigation continues.
