Clarendon man killed at Old Harbour party
Partygoers at a jerk shop in the vicinity of FESCO Gas Station and Supermarket were sent scampering when gunmen alighted from a blue Toyota Isis motorcar and open fire.
The men then made good their escape in the waiting vehicle.
Detectives later confirmed 64 years old Delroy Reader of Rosewell district, Sandy Bay, Clarendon as the deceased.
A 36-year-old male, who detectives theorized to be the intended target of the gunmen, has been admitted in hospital after he was also shot. His condition is unknown at this time.
According to the Old Harbour police the incident occurred about 9:00 pm, forcing the rave to end abruptly.
Reader, investigators say, fell to the ground after being hit in the upper body while the other man was chased and shot.
