Dead in Planters Hall quadruple murder identified

All three males shot dead in this morning’s quadruple murder in Planters Hall district, St Catherine, have been properly identified.

However, the lone female among the dead has only been tagged as Nardia by the police.

According to investigators about 1:30 am six armed men went to a premises in a section of the community called Rhule Town. The occupants of the house were 29-year-old

Omar ‘Buss Head’ Wright his girlfriend Nardia and cousin, Lester ‘Pow’ Harvey, 49, who was sleeping in the back room.

The gunmen barged their way into the two-bedroom dwelling and sprayed the occupants with bullets, killing them on the spot. The killers then went next door and shot dead 32-year-old Richard ‘Richie’ Wright, Omar’s brother, who also goes by the alias ‘Bono’.

All three men are natives of the community, while Nardia’s origin is unknown at this time.

The killers escaped on foot the police said. However, detectives have listed a man only known as ‘Jah’ as a “person of interest” as they try to put the missing pieces together to solve this gruesome killing.

Numerous 9mm spent casings were retrieved from the scene by detectives combing through the area, but so far there has been no concrete evidence yet that could lead to a major breakthrough.

Investigation is ongoing.
