Denham Town gang member killed in Old Harbour

He has been identified as Laleel Dunn otherwise called ‘Ratty’, a 19 years old resident of Chestnut Lane, Kingston 14.

According to investigators at about 8:30 pm yesterday, Dunn was sitting on the verandah at a premises in Old Harbour Glades where he was shot multiple times by a lone gunman on foot. He died on the spot after being shot in the head and upper body, but was officially pronounced dead at the Spanish Town Hospital.

Prior to his death the deceased, the police said, had been previously charged for crimes committed in the Kingston West Police Division. In March 2019 he was charged with assault occasioning bodily harm, while a month later he was slapped with a charge of larceny.

Investigation continues.
