Dr Waul hopes Warmington grant constituents this wish
He was responding to recent comments made by incumbent Member of Parliament Everald Warmington (JLP) urging Jamaicans to notify his office about roads in need of rehabilitation.
In a Jamaica Observer interview published February18, Warmington, who is the Minister without Portfolio in the Ministry of Economic Growth and Job Creation with responsibility for Works, said at least one major road project will be carried out in each of the 63 constituencies across the island in the 2021/22 financial year which begins April 1.
However, Dr Waul, who Warmington defeated in the last General Elections held September last year, lists several dilapidated roads in the constituency, some in dire conditions for more than 20 years.
Speaking to Old Harbour News, the medical doctor and Old Harbour native said he hopes the concerns expressed by residents in the area will receive appropriate attention.
