Late last night service at the facility was disrupted impacting thousands in the process.

Areas affected are: Marlie Mount, sections of Marlie Acres, sections of Old Harbour, sections of Church Pen, Old Harbour Villa and Island Farm.

The NWC is assuring customers that “following the correction of the fault, normal operation will be restarted at the facility”.

This is the third NWC facility within the Old Harbour area to experience internal electrical problems within the last 24 hours.

Yesterday power supply issues at the Graham Well and the Claremont (Succaba Pen) facilities brought operations to a halt, impacting several communities.
