Anisa Dilworth has been reported missing since May 6, 2025.

Back in the 1980s, just before the prime time news was broadcasted, there was a public service message that came on which always got people thinking and some even pausing as it was serious food for thought? It read: ‘It’s 7 o’clock… do you know where you child is?’ That is the question that Everton Dilworth wants answered as it has been a tense few days for this father as his daughter Anisa has been missing since Tuesday May 6, 2025.

Anisa Dilworth, who is a pharmacy student at the University of Technology, was last seen on Monday but was corresponding with friends and family up to Tuesday evening when she left her residence. She has not been seen or heard from since. Hailing originally from the parish of St. Ann, she has been boarding off campus since she started her tertiary journey so no one knows what she was last wearing.

Dilworth who is from a large family, has always been a responsible adult hence her disappearance is puzzling to the family, especially her father Everton, who has not been sleeping well since she has been missing. “It is hard and stressful. I can’t really sleep knowing that my child is out there. Her mother is also taking it very hard and her grandmother out fi have heart attack!” he exclaimed in an interview with Old Harbour News.

The family has heard that Anisa’s phone has been tracked to Portmore but this information has yet to be confirmed. Since Tuesday, the family has made a report to and been in dialogue with the Papine Police who they say have been trying to follow up on leads but so far they have not heard any updates.

“I want to give the police room to do their work,” added the nervous dad.

However, Mr. Dilworth is not content to just sit around waiting so he has been busy doing his own amateur investigations.

“I am up and down every day. Flyers have been posted all over from Papine to Half Way Tree, even as far as Spanish Town,” he said. “We have been trying to re-trace her movements; talking to people at her residence to see if anyone strange has been hanging around the area and just try to piece together what could have possibly happened.”

For this father, the not knowing is a serious challenge.

“It is not easy closing one’s eyes at night but I won’t give up. I won’t stop looking.”

Up to publication time, efforts to get an update from the Papine Police have not proven successful.

If you have or anyone you know have information on the whereabouts of Anisa Dilworth, kindly contact the police emergency119; Papine Police Station 876 927 2047; the family at 876 878 4048 or the nearest police station.
