Fault in JPS line disrupts NWC Rhoden’s Pen facility in Old Harbour
In an advisory, the NWC advised that the disruption is caused by a “JPSco single phase issue” which has resulted in thousands of its customers without the commodity.
The NWC says that the “power supply company has been notified of the problem and so operations will be restored as soon as these issues are corrected”.
Areas currently affected include: New Harbour Village phases I, II, III and IV; Old Harbour Bay, Colbeck district, Presidential Estate, The Aviary, Blackwood Gardens and Bourkesfield.
“The company apologizes and asks that persons bear with us as we endeavor to improve service delivery with these necessary works,” the utility company stated.
