Funeral, prayer vigil dates set for late Jamaica Bedding boss Errol Lewin
The funeral service is slated to be held at the Family of God Seventh-Day Adventist Church on Brunswick Avenue, Spanish Town on Monday, October 16, 2023. Viewing is at 10:00 am with service starting 11:00 am. Interment at a later date.
Meantime, a prayer vigil, organised by the South St Catherine Chamber of Commerce, is set for this Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at the Old Harbour Seventh-Day Adventist Church, commencing 7:00 pm.
Lewin, 74, died in Florida on September 16, 2023. It is believed that he died from a massive heart attack the family informed Old Harbour News.
His sudden death has plunged into mourning his native community of Old Harbour where he grew up and established the mattress and furniture business and juice manufacturing company OJay Koolers along with his brother Lloyd Lewin.
In the eyes of many, Errol was the consummate professional, father-figure, mentor and leader who inspired generations and a community through honest dealings and a strong work ethic.
Tributes continue to pour in since his untimely passing with many expressing disbelief and sadness as well as offering prayers and condolences to the bereaved family.
