JPS announces four-hour outage for St Catherine and Clarendon

Several communities between McCook Pen, St Catherine and Sandy Bay, Clarendon will be without electricity on February 18.

According to an advisory from the Jamaica Public Service (JPS), the planned outage will happen between the hours of 8:00 am and 12 noon to facilitate maintenance work.

The work will result in disruption in electricity supply in the following areas of St Catherine and Clarendon.

These are: McCook Pen, Amity Hall, Old Harbour, Old Harbour Bay, Marliemount, Church Pen, Spring Villlage, Nightingale Grove, Bushy Park, Longville Park, New Longsville, Bellas Gate, Kentish, Juan de Bolas, Browns Hall, Watermount, and all roads leading off.

JPS apologises for the inconvenience caused by this outage and will make every effort to restore power to the affected areas in the shortest possible time.
