Allegations are that at about 5:45 am on the day in question, Thomas and his girlfriend, the mother of the deceased child, had an argument which resulted in him attacking them with a sharp instrument.
The girlfriend managed to escape but remain hospitalized to date as a result of the injuries sustained and trauma experienced.
Thomas is scheduled to return to court on February 20 next year.
Meantime, Thomas’ lawyer has requested that his client be transferred from the ‘Hundred Man’ police lockup in Portmore to the Tower Street Adult Correctional facility in Kingston.
