A 27-year-old man was shot dead by gunmen in Old Harbour Bay last night.
Dead is Jamey Small otherwise called ‘Jay Skull’ or ‘Jay’, an unemployed resident of Thompson Pen Lane, Old Harbour Bay.
According to the Old Harbour police, about 10:00 pm yesterday residents heard gunshots in the area and called the police after Small was found suffering from multiple gunshots to his upper body.
He was taken by the police to the Spanish Town Hospital where he was formally pronounced dead by doctors on staff.
Old Harbour News understands that Small was along the roadway at the intersection of Thompson Pen Lane and Narine Lane when he was attacked by armed men who fled the scene on foot.
Investigators theorized that Small’s death stems from a longstanding gang feud in the area.
Security has been beefed up in the community in anticipation of a reprisal.
Investigation continues.
