Mark Golding to deliver main address at PNP Church Pen Division Conference

President of the People’s National Party (PNP) Mark Golding has been confirmed as the guest speaker for its Church Pen Divisional Conference slated for June 11, 2023.

This was announced by the party’s divisional chairman and councillor candidate Natalie Ho, who informed Comrades in the division in a voice note on Whatsapp.

A copy of the digital message was shared with Old Harbour News.

“I just personally get confirmation from Comrade Leader Mark Golding,” Ho said in an exciting tone. “The Comrade leader has just confirmed that he will be the guest speaker at our conference.

“We are very excited to have our leader coming to Church Pen. Little Church Pen, can you believe it, that nobody recognize for a long time. We are now a confirmed and recognize division and we are bringing to you the leader of the People’s National Party.”

She added: “We will do everything to make this a successful conference and we are looking forward to see the Comrade leader at little Church Pen Division.”

The PNP Church Pen Divisional Conference will be staged at the Cool Breeze Entertainment Complex in Sharper Lane.

Ho has uploaded on her Facebook page a montage with herself and PNP President Mark Golding since the announcement.

Ho, who grew up in Sharper Lane in the division, is expected to challenge incumbent Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) Councillor Mark O’Connor whenever Local Government elections are called between now and February 2024.
