Mark Golding talks development of Old Harbour Bay, defeating Warmington during tour
On his trail which included stops at the Old Harbour Bay public and fishing beaches and the party’s main office of the constituency, the opposition leader got down to earth with loyalists who all warmed to his presence in like manner.
During a meet and greet at the public beach, Old Harbour News got a chance to speak to the PNP president who emphasized the importance of his visit.
Mr Golding also spoke about plans to develop the public beach into an entertainment zone, regaining control of the constituency from the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) as well as the decision by the government to grant oversight powers to the Bank of Jamaica to regulate the financial sector in the wake of the current scandal at brokerage firm Stocks and Securities Limited.
Accompanying Mr Golding on his tour were Dr Kurt Waul, constituency chairman, PNP St Catherine South Western and councillor candidate for the party for Old Harbour South Division; businessman Adrian Samuda, who is the councillor candidate for the Old Harbour North Division and Obryan Leighton, councillor candidate for the Old Harbour Central Division.
