Mentally challenged Old Harbour man missing

A missing person report has been filed at the Old Harbour Police Station for Romario Bernard.

Bernard, 27, was last seen on November 11, 2019. He is of dark complexion, slim build and about five feet nine inches tall. He sports a plaited hairstyle and has the words ‘family first’ tattooed on his right arm. At the time last seen Bernard was wearing a floral shirt, black pants and a pair of brown shoes.

According to the report filed, on last week Monday Bernard went to the home of a caregiver in Bannister where he had a meal before leaving.

According to the Bullet Tree family, Bernard is mentally challenged and speaks with an American accent.

It’s the first time Bernard has wandered off, a close family friend told Old Harbour News. He’s said to be non-violent.
