Old Harbour Bay fisherman murdered
According to the police about 6:30 pm Donovan Taylor, otherwise called ‘Don Man’ of Narine Lane, was shot dead by a lone gunman.
The police say Taylor, a 36-year-old fisherman, was at a bar along the fishing beach when he was attacked and shot multiple times at close range.
It is further understood that the fisherman had just returned from a day’s work at sea when he was gunned down.
He was rushed to the May Pen Hospital where he was pronounced dead by a doctor on staff.
No motive has been established for the killing but investigators are theorizing that a feud involving men from within the community could be linked to this murder.
Investigation continues.
