Old Harbour Bay man charged after 'beating' woman with gun
Investigators informed that Desmond ‘Chuku’ Kelly, 27, of Narine Lane, Old Harbour Bay has been slapped with assault at common-law and prohibition of an illegal weapon.
According to the police on October 27, Kelly and a woman were engaged in a heated argument during which it is alleged that he used a gun to beat her.
A report was then lodged by the victim at the Old Harbour Bay Police Station following which Kelly was arrested and charged the next day.
A court date is being finalized for Kelly to appear.
