Old Harbour businessman shot at home

Based on preliminary investigation by the police, about 7:30 pm the senior citizen was at his home, which he operates as a small guest house, when he heard unusual sounds at the rear of the premises.

Upon reaching to the back of the premises, the proprietor saw a man who fired several shots at him, hitting him multiple times in the hands and torso.

The elderly man managed to ran back inside the house before collapsing at the front door. Fortunately for the business operator he was found by the watchman of the premises reporting for duty.

The police were summoned to the scene and the injured man taken to the hospital where he’s admitted in serious but stable condition.
