Old Harbour communities to be without electricity for nine hours

Several Old Harbour communities will be without electricity for nine hours on May 21 the Jamaica Public Service (JPS) has announced.

In an advisory the company said the planned outage is scheduled between the hours of 8:30 am and 5:30 pm; and will affect the communities of Old Harbour Bay main road, Sharper Lane, Terminal Road, Blackwood Gardens, New Harbour Village I, II, III, Thompson Pen Lane, Narine Lane and all roads leading off.

The outage the company is necessary to undertake maintenance work in the area.

The company has apologized for the inconvenience and will try restoring power within the shortest time possible.
