According to Goode, 80 percent of the cohort of 260 students is proficient based on the results, but a deeper analysis will be done to determine how his team prepare the next batch of students when the 2019/20 academic year begins.

Eric Williams is the only student to score highly proficient in all subject areas and has matriculated to Glenmuir High. St Jago High School-bound Shania Sewell topped the girl’s category, having attained highly proficient in all but one subject.

PEP, a national curriculum-based standardized test, is a series of assessment which place emphasis on determining the extent to which students are able to use their knowledge of content and skills they developed to solve problems.

It replaces the former Grade Six Achievement (GSAT) Test which focused primarily on content and assessing student knowledge of the subject area.
