On May 20, 2025, twenty-three students were officially enrolled into Old Harbour Primary School’s Red Cross Youth Club, marking a significant step in fostering a spirit of service among young learners.

During the induction exercise, link patron and teacher Charmaine Thomas emphasized the importance of volunteerism and providing aid to those in need.

She encouraged the new members to embrace the values of compassion, teamwork, and community support as they embark on their journey with the organization. Ms. Thomas is supported by fellow link patrons in Ms. Venessa Cain and Ms. Z. McGregor who co-ordinator regular scheduling and planning of the club’s activities.

The Red Cross Youth Club plays a vital role in teaching students humanitarian principles while engaging them in meaningful service projects.

With these new additions, the club is poised to make an even greater impact in promoting kindness and assistance within and beyond the school community.
