Old Harbour records first murder of the year
The deceased is Rohan Kepple, a 49-year-old fisherman of Old Harbour Bay.
Kepple, also known as ‘Kanie’ or ‘Ballie’ of East Bay Drive in the community, was found dead late Saturday night along the fish market.
According to the police, about 10:45 pm residents reported hearing several gunshots in the area.
The police were informed and following a search Kepple was found lying face down in a pool of blood.
Police scene of crime unit was summoned and the location processed by forensic experts.
The body was removed to the morgue for storage.
A motive is yet to be established for the killing.
