Three people have been shot, one fatally, following a gun attack at a nightclub in Old Harbour.
About 12:45 am today, patrons inside Dimells Night Club were sent scampering onto Ascot Drive when a man fired several gunshots at another man at close range.
The deceased, who investigators believe was the clear target of the gunman, died on the spot and later identified as Gerald Moxam of a Sandy Bay, Clarendon address.
Two other men, one said to be 59 years old and the other 25 years of age - both of Old Harbour addresses - received gunshot wounds to their thigh and shoulders respectively.
Their conditions are not considered to be life-threatening.
According to preliminary reports from the police, Moxam was playing a gaming machine in the company of a female when he was attacked and shot multiple times in the upper body.
The gunman and another man, who is said to be an accomplice of the shooter, ran out of the nightclub together and escaped in a Honda Fit motor car, said the police.
Investigation continues.
