Anisa Dilworth has been reported missing since May 5, 2025.

Investigators probing the disappearance of 20-year-old pharmacy student Anisa Dilworth remain optimistic that she is alive as the investigation intensifies.

Dilworth, a University of Technology (UTech) student, was reported missing on May 5, sparking a frantic search by relatives, friends, and law enforcement. Multiple agencies are collaborating, with her last known location traced to the Hellshire area in Portmore, Old Harbour News understands.

In a significant development, the St. Andrew Central Police yesterday took an InDrive ride-share driver into custody, seizing his vehicle for forensic analysis. Detectives are currently questioning him.

Senior Superintendent Mark Harris, Commander of the St. Andrew Central Division, revealed that investigators are also searching for another individual believed to have critical information.

“We are looking for her and hope to find her alive,” SSP Harris told Old Harbour News is a follow-up. While acknowledging the lack of concrete evidence, he maintained an optimistic tone, stating, “Well, nothing to say that she is dead. We are only sure that she is missing.”

Dilworth, who lives off-campus, was last seen under unclear circumstances. Her father, Everton Dilworth, described her as a highly responsible young woman, making her sudden disappearance deeply troubling for the family.
