Elder Oniel Pusey delivers the sermon during the funeral service for the late Theresa ‘Shernette’ Bryan at the Refuge Temple Apostolic Faith Church on May 4, 2019.

Bryan, 33, lost her battle with cervical cancer on March 23 of this year after being diagnosed with the dreaded disease in 2017.

The popular Smith Avenue resident was well known in the party circles before falling ill. She had two children.

During a very lively ceremony in her memory Elder Pusey urged the unsaved in the congregation to repent before it’s too late.

Interment was at Thetford Cemetery.
