Thief caught red handed by Old Harbour cops
Glenroy Pinnock was caught by two officers from the Old Harbour Police Station stealing items from Ninja Sports Bar at Bodles Crescent.
About 1:00 am on June 9, 2021 Pinnock, an auto-mechanic of Green River district, Frankfield, Clarendon, was arrested by the officers who had responded to a police emergency call of a shop breaking in progress at the pub.
When the officers arrived at the location they observed a bucket containing alcohol beverages and cigarettes, while a section of the wooden structure was vandalized.
Upon further observation the officers realized that someone was inside the building at which point the person was ordered to come out. The suspect came out and was duly arrested after which he identified himself as Glenroy Pinnock.
A day later, the owner of the bar came forward and lodged a formal report at the Old Harbour Police Station that the facility was burglarized after which Pinnock was charged.
Pinnock made remains in custody after he was bound over by the judge in hi first court appearance on June 22. His next court date is July 27.
