Zone leaders in battle to remain on top in Old Harbour South football
This weekend will prove challenging for Midfield Madness, Red Ground, Scheme and others play back-to-back in rescheduled games previously postponed.
But they appear to have the squad depth hence an agreement has been reached for them to play Saturday and Sunday, as well as Labour Day.
The customary three matches are on this Saturday with Midfield Madness playing Russian FC. Midfield Madness, with three draws from three games and currently second from bottom in the six-team Zone A standing, should feel confident of winning this fixture against a Russian side with just a solitary point.
Red Ground versus Sporting DM is likely to be a close affair with both sides yet to taste defeat. However, victory for either team will see them leapfrog Zone B leader Buddho who play on Monday.
Panton Town, sitting atop Zone C on maximum six points, take on unbeaten Scheme down in fourth but only two points behind the leader.
Sunday matches see League of Legends squaring off with Wimblesand FC; Panton Town tackling the winless Terminal United and MW United doing battle with Russian FC in the late game.
On Labour Day, Scheme play Terminal United before Taxi and Midfield Madness lock horns in a quadruple football feast at the Buddho community playfield.
Kelly Pen faces a tall order going up against hosts Buddho and its partisan supporters before OHB Youngsters tackle Red Ground who are second in the group on seven points from three matches.
