Dr Kurt Waul, the man entrusted by the People’s National Party (PNP) to contest the St Catherine South Western seat at the next general election, has vowed to lead with integrity, respect and from a moral high ground.
Dr Waul, who was defeated in the 2020 general elections by Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) incumbent and political veteran Everald Warmington, made the declaration at a fundraising reception at Kaluga Kafe Sunday night.
With PNP leader Mark Golding present, Dr Waul used the occasion to take a veiled swipe at JLP leader and Prime Minister Andrew Holness as well as Warmington.
Jamaicans are expected to go to the polls in 2025.
