O'neil Bailey was murdered at his gate in Bannister, Old Harbour
Church service begins 10:00 am while internment is at Thetford Park Cemetery.
Around 8: 45 pm, Bailey, 50, was shot dead by unknown assailants in front of his residence in Pointy Heights, Bannister on July 12 of this year.
It has been more than eight weeks since the now former Jamaica Bedding employee was murdered, but in an Old Harbour News follow-up, the police say they are yet to make any breakthrough in their investigations amid several strong leads.
Bailey, also known as ‘Red Man’, ‘Bankie’ or ‘Owen’, was a well-known and beloved native of Old Harbour.
He died leaving behind three children, both parents and two siblings.
