Man cleared of murder gunned down in Old Harbour Bay

Dead is Davin O'Sullivan otherwise called 'Beenie Man' of an area known as Bhuddo in the community.
O'Sullivan, 30, was at his home about 3:00 pm when a group of armed men barged in and shot him multiple times, killing him on the spot.
A preliminary police report stated that O'Sullivan was shot several times in the head and upper body.
Approximately a month ago O'Sullivan was acquitted in the Gun Court bringung to an end a seven-year court battle, Old Harbour News understands.
According to investigators O'Sullivan is a known violence producer who was charged months later in connection with the April 2017 murder of Shevoy Collins also known as Quenah of Terminal Road, Old Harbour Bay.
In May 2017, before formal charges were laid against him, O'Sullivan was among a group of men who were detained in a police operation in the Dagga Bay area in which two illegal guns were seized.
While in custody he was formally charged with the murder of Collins.
O'Sullivan runnings with the law are well known amongst crime fighters here in the Old Harbour space. In May 2015 he was also among a group of prisoners who escaped from the Hundred Man jail in Portmore before he was recaptured, a police officer told Old Harbour News.
