Delinquent customers living in southwest St Catherine will be targeted for the week of September 4-8, the state company has announced.

Between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm NWC teams will be visiting the communities of New Harbour Village, The Aviary, Claremont Heights and Old Harbour Glades, as well as other communities across the country.

In an advisory, the utility company, stated: “NWC's dis-connection drive continues Sept. 4-8, 2023 for delinquent customers islandwide. The NWC will be going to targeted communities to dis-connect for outstanding payments, so make arrangements to pay now! We would much rather collect than disconnect.”

Other communities in St Catherine namely Cumberland, Garveymeade, Cedar Grove, Independence City, are also down for disconnection this week, along with other communities in the parishes of Clarendon, Kingston and St Andrew, and St Ann.
