Put down that surgical knife nobody's going to operate on anybody...unless that is your area of skill by which you render service to God. In His awesome wisdom, God has given different people different set of skills.

He fully expects you to fully use them to fully serve Him as you help others. These are not to be confused by the gifts of the Spirit which are used in the direct spreading of the gospel and the building up of the church. However our skill sets were given to open opportunities to exercise the spiritual gifts. One day a gentleman came to our church and he was overseeing a building project. One task had him bending a nail so that he could drive it at an angle. Our pastor said to him, "How comes I can't drive a nail like you?" He simply answered, "Bro. Richie, how come I can't preach like you?" They both walked away with fresh respect for each other and thankfulness to God for the different areas in which they operated. So if you can't preach like...or teach like..., you still have an area where you are expected to operate. 13 years ago, we visited a lady and while we shared the gospel with her, one member of our team went and played ball with her two-year-old son. There's no spiritual gift called distraction or kick ball but had she not carried this operation, the lady might not have been able recently to share a testimony that this is her 13th year in Christ. What area of operation are you involved with today? Use it to enhance the work of the gospel and glorify your Boss.
