Grade 2 students from Old Harbour Primary School at Sampars Old Harbour.
A batch of Grade 2 students from the Old Harbour Primary School was given first-hand lessons on managing money when shopping.
Recently the group was taken to supermarket chain Sampars in Old Harbour by teacher Charmaine Thomas who exposed them to the intricacies at play when spending money and receiving change. Thomas, who is the Grade 2 co-ordinator, says the lesson was well received by the children and intends to do similar exercises going forward.
