Dancehall artiste, Pamputtae, founder of the Single Mothers' Foundation and her team started their pre- Labour Day project at the Victoria Jubilee Hospital (VJH) on Tuesday.

The artiste, given name Evena Henry, painted the Postnatal Ward Counselling Room and donated cases of water for Labour Day.

The Single Mothers' Foundation began as a result of Henry being a single mother.  She encouraged single mothers across the globe to keep up the good work and keep on fighting.

She mentioned that her first son was born at the Victoria Jubilee Hospital and it is the reason why it was important for her to give assistance to the maternity hospital.

She also met with the staff and patients at the facility.
