SunCity Radio has come on board as an official partner of the Old Harbour Kaluga Business Mingle Series, following the event’s first staging last Friday.

Chairman and CEO of SunCity 104.9 FM, Steve Billings, expressed satisfaction in working closely with the business community of Old Harbour.

Billings, who was among the first group of business representatives present at the event, said he looks forward to forging new relations with all relevant stakeholders.

He also gave a commitment to Old Harbour News that SunCity 104.9 FM will serve as the official radio sponsor for the monthly series, which is being staged at Kaluga Seafood Restaurant.

The business mingle is a platform designed to help entrepreneurs grow their brands through networking in front of an audience of professionals and investors.

“This is the place where real conversations are generated, partnerships explored, and developed,” said Andrew Hancel, founder of Old Harbour News. “Networking and collaboration are among the surest ways to sustain any business, especially for small, micro, and medium enterprises – the most vulnerable to the slightest economic shocks.

“We see big conglomerates collaborating and even merging in some instances to consolidate their market status and grow. So, as SMEs, we must look in that direction if we intend to survive in these challenging times.

“Therefore, we at Old Harbour News and Kaluga welcome SunCity Radio coming on board this initiative of creating the right environment for entrepreneurs to thrive.”

While the business mingle series is a free public event, businesses can purchase select packages that offer more visibility for their brand, including a live stage presentation that will be aired on SunCity Radio and Old Harbour News social media platforms.

The series of mingles will also serve as a precursor to the annual Old Harbour News Business Expo, scheduled for Thursday, November 26, 2026, at the New Testament Church of God National Convention Centre on West Street, Old Harbour.

The next mingle in the series is slated for June 26, 2026.
