Three shot in brawling daylight shooting in Old Harbour

One of the gunmen is believed to be dead according to onlookers at the crime scene, while the status of the other persons injured is unknown at this time.

The police have confirmed the incident, informing Old Harbour News that all three persons shot have been rushed to the hospital.

Information reaching Old Harbour News is that two armed men on a motorcycle attacked open gunfire on another man on West Street in the vicinity of Gateway Plaza.

A police officer in plain clothes was on spot and challenged the gunmen, shooting both of them in the process.

The incident has created a gridlock in the town centre, with the police urging motorists to use alternate routes until the scene is processed.

This is the second shooting in the town centre within the last nine days.

And in an update, Old Harbour News can report that a 9mm Glock pistol with two magazines and 12 9mm rounds have been recovered following the shooting.
