Four persons from one family were murdered early this morning in Planters Hall, a farming community five minutes’ drive north of Old Harbour square.

The deadly shooting occurred sometime about 1:30 am, according to information reaching Old Harbour News.

Two brothers, a cousin and a woman, said to be the girlfriend of one of the brothers were slain by armed men in a section of the usually quiet community known as Rhule Town.

Official identification of the deceased persons is yet to be ascertained, however, residents say among the dead are Lester ‘Pow’ Harvey; two brothers who go by the aliases ‘Bono’ and ‘Buss Head’ and an unidentified female.

It is understood that the gunmen first barged their way into the house of ‘Bono’ and shot him dead, before attacking the other occupants next door, killing them on the spot.

The gunmen escaped.
