The teen has been reported missing after leaving her McCook Pen, St Catherine home for a family cake sale event on Christmas Eve.

She was wearing a pink top and blue jeans along with a Gucci handbag at the time she left her grandmother’s house. Wellington lives with her grandmother.

In a post to Old Harbour News a woman, said to be Wellington’s cousin, described the teen as a “nice person” who loves to play a lot.

Wellington, she said, did not turn up at the cake sale event after making checks with other family members.

Several calls to Wellington’s mobile phone went unanswered, she informed Old Harbour News. However, “at one point someone answer her phone and tell us bad words”.

They are appealing to the public for any assistance that may lead to her safe return home.

Investigation into the matter is ongoing for the police.
