Members of the public trying to contact the Old Harbour Police Station can do so via a temporary emergency contact assigned.
The main assigned numbers are currently unavailable due to technical challenges with the infrastructure of telecommunication provider FLOW, said DSP Mark Harris in a notice to stakeholders.
DSP Harris, the commanding officer in charge of the Old Harbour police zone, which is a sub-division of the St Catherine South Police Division, says persons trying to directly contact the station should call 876 203 3659 or him personally at 876 997 2295.
The senior officer noted that persons can contact the station via both numbers directly as well as on WhatsApp.
An advisory will be issued whenever the system is restored and the original numbers become available again.
