Man fatally shot during drive-by shooting in Old Harbour

Information reaching Old Harbour News is that about 7:00 pm a video shoot being done at a plaza at 5 South Street by local artiste Kashmar was aborted instantly when men alighted from a motor car and open gunfire at the crew.

However, the men were challenged by the police officer in plain clothing, during which the driver of the vehicle, which crashed into a wall, was shot.

The deceased it yet to be identified, while the other men escaped on foot.

Kashmar, who hails from Old Harbour Bay, was not hurt. Old Harbour News was unable to confirm if other persons were injured.

The dancehall artiste is known for several singles, the latest being Choppa Lifestyle which has received more than 500 views on YouTube since its release a week ago.

A motive is yet to be determined an investigator told Old Harbour News.
