No clue on Old Harbour man missing since November 28
It is understood that Christian left his Bullet Tree home on the night of November 28, the last time he was seen by family members.
At the time, the six-foot tall young man, who is of slim build and brown complexion, was wearing a red pull-over t-shirt and a white short pants.
The Old Harbour police have confirmed that a missing person report for Christian was officially filed at the station on December 4.
“We are so worried,” his sister Nicole Christian told Old Harbour News. “He didn't tell no one where he was going. He never leaves home and stay so long.”
Jameco’s mother Jean Martin-Christian is hypertensive and is having trouble keeping her blood pressure below critical level due to the very worrying state of affairs.
“Mi jus want him come back home, mek mi eat a prapa dina and sleep nice,” she said, noting that the situation is more worrisome for her given the fact that Jameco, the fifth of her eight children, is not the kind of person who would not communicate if he’s not coming home.
Jameco is well known in the area and is seen regularly on his bicycle riding to Kitson Town where he does duco works on motor vehicles as a profession. His coworkers said he did not show up for work the following day after receiving his salary the Thursday, Mrs. Martin-Christian said.
Yesterday family members and the police went to the Kingston Public Hospital after receiving word that a man was hit off a bicycle along the Kitson Town route. But it was not Jameco.
Mrs. Martin-Christian said everybody including neighbours and friends are concerned.
A serious time now,” she said. “Every day him uncle dem and friends dem call a ask wi if wi no hear anything yet.”
“Please help us find my brother!” Nicole lamented.
