A missing person report has been filed with the police after Jones, 16, did not return home on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.

The teenager is a student of the Old Harbour High School and resides with her mother at Jacaranda Homes, Innswood, St Catherine.

Phiona Miller, who is the mother, told Old Harbour News that her daughter left home in her school uniform, but hours later learnt that classes were moved online due to heavy rains.

“I got a message from the school that she was not in class for online school,” Miller said. “So I called her about two o’clock and told her about the message that I received from the school and then I said to her ‘where are you?’ and she told me that she was coming home. From that I don’t hear from her.”

“She’s with somebody, I believe. Someone has her,” she added.

She described her daughter as someone who will speak her mind, but can be introverted at times too.

Jones is of slim built, brown complexion, about five feet, 10 inches tall.
