20 New Zealand scholarships for Caribbean citizens for 2019
Applications for study beginning in February 2020 open on Friday, 15 February, 2019.
Every year, New Zealand offers up to 20 scholarships to eligible Caribbean citizens to pursue world-class postgraduate academic programmes with a focus on climate change and resilience, food security and agriculture, renewable energy and disaster risk management.
Scholarship recipient Jamaican Andre Smith says he’s enjoying the experience so far.
“It’s a really great experience to come to New Zealand, to travel outside your own country, it takes you outside your comfort zone, but I’ve enjoyed it so far,” said Smith, who is studying environmental management.
