Comey admits mishandling Hillary Clinton email investigation

A report from Axios Saturday claims excerpts from his upcoming book indicate he believes he mishandled the Clinton investigation. He says there were mistakes in how he conducted the press conference in which he said Clinton’s actions were extremely careless and recommended no charges against her.

Comey has come under fire over the situation, including from President Trump in a tweet Friday, in which he said the former director’s handling of the Clinton email probe will go down as one of the worst botch jobs in history.
