Genesis 26:13-22. Verse 22 said: “And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, for now the LORD hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.”

They called him ‘Cowboy’ and he hated it. It brought out the worst in him. Then his friend, from a school on the better side of North Street, gave him a game changing suggestion.  "Stop fighting and you won't lose." So, he embraced the name and “walakazam" they stopped the teasing - the fun of him getting angry was gone. He now calls himself ‘Cowboy’.

Isaac finally got down to doing HIS thing. Since he couldn't go high, he was going deep. He dug a well.  His enemies went and created strife with him, demanding the well.  At first, he held his ground, but eventually and grudgingly he moved away knowing that if God helped him before, God will help him again. A second well was dug. As soon as the water popped out, here came the enemies again demanding this one also. Have you ever ask yourself, when is it time to stop running and time to take the war back to them or to even poison the water then leave? Here's another thought - God has obviously gifted me to dig wells, so I will simply do that, no pressure, no fuss, just let them have this one also. The first time Isaac left grudgingly but this time he left graciously. They strove but he didn't strive back. He took away their "fun". When he dug his third well, there wasn't even a dog barking. God gave him room so he named it Rehoboth (room). Well-diggers conquer evil with good.
