Originally the NWC had advised that customers served by this facility would experience a four-day disruption from April 30, 2019 to May 4, 2019.

However, in a circular being distributed in the communities that will be impacted, the utility company announced a new schedule which will see service suspended from May 6-10 in order to “facilitate scheduled system maintenance work”.

“Please note that as a result your water supply will be disrupted and as such you are being asked to store supplies for use during the duration stated. Where possible, water will be trucked to the affected areas upon request,” the company advised its customers.

Areas to be affected will include Bushy Park, Spring Village, Island Farm, Nightingale Grove Housing Scheme, Nightingale Grove Farms (Five Acres), Round Wood, High House, Rock Stone and Gutters.

The NWC apologises to its customers for any inconvenience the disruption in service may cause.
